Wilson Staff’s line of irons has "more majors won” than any other brand. Players using Wilson Staff clubs have won a total of 62 majors since 1922 and include illustrious company over the years, such as Gene Sarazen, Arnold Palmer, Ben Crenshaw, Bernhard Langer, Payne Stewart, John Daly, Vijay Singh, Padraig Harrington and Scotland’s very own Paul Lawrie who triumphed in The Open at Carnoustie in 1999.

 

Alan signed up to use Wilson irons and equipment in 2022 and although he’s aware he’ll never be added to that list of major winners, he is loving his new irons. “I hadn’t had new equipment for about 15 years, in fact my fellow pros were calling my clubs prehistoric”, Alan laughs. “I now use the D9 Forged Steel Irons and I’m amazed at how easy they are to hit. I’m also at least a club or club and a half longer with my irons than I was with my old ones. I use the Staff ball as well which is great. It’s easy to control and is incredibly durable. Wilson are bringing out their best ever woods in 2023 and I can’t wait to get my hands on them”.
